I'm gonna be gone for about ten days to go to the big city for medical schtuff. Just thought I'd drop a note here mentioning that. Mairelyn, I started work on your picture with the intention of getting it up before I left so you wouldn't have to wait, but I ended up rushing and it shows. :\ So I think I'm gonna start work on it again when I get home. Sorry about the delay, but it's just the way things worked out. Hope you don't mind the extra wait. If you felt like it in the meantime, you could note me with a written description of the character so that I could have that as well as the reference picture. You don't have to, of course, but it might be helpful. :}

but don't worry about it.
I think it's more important that you take care of yourself than some kiriban i was just lucky to catch.
so go take care, have fun if possible and take all the time you need

Eek. Unless we're talking about the one linking to your reference pic, it would seem I didn't get your note. D:

So you know, I have taken about three separate stabs at your picture so far, normally to get about halfway through with them and decide I'm not satisfied. So I haven't just forgotten about it! And at the moment I'm also adjusting to drawing and colouring on a laptop screen, which is another minor stumbling block, but I'm slowly getting the hang of things.

Everything went as well as could be expected, considering I hate dentists and am growing increasingly un-fond of needles. XD

to be honest, yes it was the one with the reference picture but I didn't say it in favor of letting you figure it out instead of me saying it and comming out as demanding, impatient and ungrateful.

which is a bit irrelevant considering how much grief my request must be taking you and here i go "putting more pain into injury" by asking about it.

I encourage you to take as much time as you need and completely ignore me till you think it's satisfied *that would teach me a bit about being patient; and i want you to feel relax and enjoy drawing not making it feel like it has to come "1st prize material quality" or worse, like homework.

and don't apologize, it's not your fault- it's mine for not knowing how to read situations.

on a lighter note i'm glad everything went well with the doctors.
even if fear and un-fondness are related.
at least it is once every once in a while. and you are healthy *me would assume*
